Charles Eugene Boone (born June 1, 1934), known professionally as Pat Boone, is an American singer, actor ,writer, Christian activist and a conservative political commentator, who is one most successful pop singer´s in the history of Pop and Rock´n Roll music. He sold over 45 million albums, had 38 Top 40 hits and starred in more than 12 Hollywood movies.

Pat Boone had many Number 1 Hits in the 50´s and 60´s such as "Love Letters in the sand", "Moody River", "Ain´t that a shame", "I almost lost my Mind", "April Love".

Pat Boone wrote the Lyrics from the famous movie theme "Exodus" which starred Paul Newman and was composed by Ernest Gold. "This Land is mine" the Exodus Song was covered by many others artists. Another great version is by Andy Williams.

Pat Boone´s smooth Baritone voice is one the Best from the Legendary Crooner Era which included artists like Bing Crosby "The Father of Crooners", Dean Martin, Perry Como, Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Al Martino, Andy Williams, Jerry Vale, Tony Martin, Engelbert Humperdinck, Tony Martin, Gordon Macrae and others. Mr.Boone is even today in a great voice shape and his smooth Baritone sounds like in 50´s and 60´s.

In the 60´s and 70´s he also started a career in Country and Gospel music. Today he stills performs, owns his own record company, hostes his own radio show and blog, writes polical comments and many more.
